Chris and Shelley (Slick) Harvan graduated from CIA in 1997 and currently are co-owners, designers and sculptors for Memento Memorials. After being inspired by a unique urn built for Chris’ sister’s husband, the Harvans began making urns and memorial boxes for people. Shelley works as an art teacher, and in her spare time works as a portrait artist for Memento Memorials. www.cia.edu/alumniprofiles
Some of the stuff I say is a bit over the top, but my education there was one of the most intense and richest parts of my life. Â The community of incredibly talented people and access to ideas was really amazing. Â Sometimes I miss it!
