Description
Inspired by the illustrations by Nicoletta Ceccoli in the book The Girl In the Castle Inside the Museum, this infant urn is turned by hand from cedar in such a way that it has a “rough sawn” texture. The bottom lid is turned from maple. White and red milk paint with a protective shellac coating were used throughout – leaving a non-toxic finish. The star is hand carved from maple and “silver” leafed then distressed.
