Meta – Cedar Cremation Keepsake Urn

Description

The keepsake sized version of the Meta Urn is intended for distributing cremated remains among family members, our four-legged friends, and the unfortunate situations of child and infant loss -at approximately 18 cubic inches (295 cubic cm).

Cedar is used for the base and lid in this version of the Meta Urn – the former is fixed in place and latter is pressure fit by means of a simple, yet clever gasket.  Both are distressed to exaggerate the grain patterns and finished with a non-toxic, linseed oil based finish. The main body of the urn is composed of powder-coated aluminum.  

Bookmatched Cedar pairs and groupings can be requested in situations where cremated remains are to be distributed among family members.  Knots and other interesting occlusions that do not affect structural integrity are treated as jewels rather than discarded or hidden.
