Meta – Poplar Wood Cremation Keepsake Urn

Description

The keepsake-sized version of the Meta Urn is intended for distributing cremated remains among family members, for small four-legged family members, or the unfortunate situations of infant loss – at approximately 18 cubic inches (294 cubic cm).

Poplar wood is used for the base and lid – the former is fixed in place, and the latter is pressure fit by means of a simple gasket.  The urn bodies are made of 1/4″ thick wall aluminum that is powder coated.

Bookmatched Poplar wood pairs and groupings can be requested when cremated remains are distributed among family members.

Poplar Colors

Poplar ranges wildly in color: a barely perceptibly greenish off-white to mid-toned brownish green, black, purple, yellow, and even red – sometimes all in the same board. If you have a preference, we will do our best to honor it, but we cannot guarantee that we will have the exact variation of coloring in stock. (DARKER and WILDER options are currently unavailable as of December 2020)

Grain-Matched Pair Option

By maintaining the order from which the urn tops come off of the saw, we are able to keep pairs so that partners may have urns that the grain flows from one to the other and matches on one side. Simply request this in your order of two or more in the order notes during checkout.
