Meta – Torched Oak Cremation Keepsake Urn

Description

The keepsake-sized version of the Meta Urn is intended for keeping a small quantity of cremated remains, for under-20-pound four-legged friends, and for the unfortunate situations of child and infant loss, at approximately 18 cubic inches (295 cubic cm).

White oak wood finished with the traditional yakisugi technique is used for the base and lid in this version of the Meta Urn Oak wood finished in a faux shou sugi ban that relies on shellac and milk paint in order to more reliably provide this look. The base is fixed in place, and the latter is pressure-fitted with a simple gasket.  The main body of the urn is composed of powder-coated aluminum.
