Pads of Wood was created by Chris Harvan as a way of remembering that special contact with a pet’s paw. Recreating your pet’s pads out of wood in this way creates a positive touchpoint that emphasizes that connection.
Custom-created from a photo you provide of your pet’s paw imprint or inkprint. Instructions on how to do this and inputting your pet’s name are provided after purchase. Don’t have an imprint or inkprint? We’ll create one that is roughly your pet’s size – just let us know in your order notes.
Designed to either rest flat, on the bottom edge for shelf display, or hung on a wall. Friends and family of your pet may wish to have their own copies. Share your display with the hashtag #PadsofWood
HOW IT WORKS
- After purchase, we provide easy instructions to electronically provide Aril a photo of your pet’s paw imprint or inkprint and your pet’s name
- Aril carefully crafts a to-scale, wood recreation of your pet’s pads and engraves your pet’s name
- You will receive your Pads of Wood within a few weeks from the date of purchase

SIZES
Once your pet’s imprint or inkprint is provided, we will match it to an appropriately proportioned wood base that will be approximately 1 3/4″ (4.445 cm) thick in one of the following sizes:
- 3″ x 3″ (7.62 cm) – cats and very small dogs, usually under 20 lbs
- 4″ x 4″ (10.16 cm) – some cats and small dogs
- 6″ x 6″ (15.24 cm) – medium to large-sized dogs
- 7″ x 7″ (17.78 cm) – very large dogs
