Description
ROOK Poplar Keepsake Cremation Urn is fabricated from material from our shop that isn’t large enough to become one of our META Cremation Urns.
We are surrounded by the miracle that is lumber every day. Holding that material within your hand isn’t practical when the wood is captured in the structure of your house, a stair you step on, or a painted baseboard. Those services and tasks that wood provides us, while rough in presentation and use, aren’t low. We take that same material and elevate it in such a way that the interaction with it becomes worthy of remembrance.
This is achieved by care for the material and hand preparation of the blanks. The very pores of the Poplar wood have a soft, smooth harmony with a natural sheen that is achieved with a non-toxic, food-safe finish.
The closure for the ROOK Poplar Keepsake Cremation Urn is cork and wood. Once inserted, it is extremely difficult to remove. Please be sure that you are ready to permanently close the keepsake urn before inserting the closure into its recess.
Poplar varies in color from light cream to greenish-yellow, to yellowish-green, to greenish-brown, to mid-brown, to sometimes dark brown, streaks of red, or even purple. This variation can occur from board to board or within a board. Embrace divine intervention in terms of what the universe makes available for your order. If there is a must-have directive of color please get in touch and understand that this may delay your order.
We published a guide for transferring cremated remains to make the process easier for those who are inclined to do so themselves.
As with all the products on this site, made in Cleveland, Ohio.
